We are seeking a Manager for Collections Predelinquency Programs responsible for reviewing and evaluating delinquent, high-risk, or written-off accounts for potential collections opportunities. The role involves understanding customer needs, providing collections-related sales and service, advising on payment strategies, and supporting various areas such as coaching, quality audits, vendor management, and credit disputes.

Key Responsibilities:

  11. Analyze accounts, gather data, and prepare reports to inform decision-making and recovery strategies.
  12. Lead process improvements, develop training, and support strategic initiatives.
  13. Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in collections.
  14. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with policies and procedures.
  15. Support continuous improvement and leverage industry knowledge to enhance processes.
  16. Handle non-routine situations independently and identify broader work or accountabilities as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Typically 5-7 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of credit qualifications, federal, state/provincial laws related to collections, and BMO products/services.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and influence skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.

Salary: $68,000.00 - $126,000.00

Pay Type: Salaried
