A leading health services company in Charleston, WV, seeks a finance and collections manager. Responsibilities include managing BPO partnerships, overseeing collections, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have significant experience and a bachelor's degree. Flexible benefits include health coverage and paid time off. Salary ranges from $87,700 to $131,565.
Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Collections is responsible for the collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This includes dispute research, developing payment plans with customers, and building relationships of trust with customers and internal business partners.
Manage BPO (Business Process Outsourcing) Partner for designated area
Management reporting on results, risks, opportunities, trends as well as ad hoc as needed
Operational Excellence mindset to drive improvement efforts for on-shore and/or off-shore teams
Project management mindset to drive collaborative efforts across multiple teams
Business to business collections - problem solving with customer on payment issues
Travel possible up to 10%
Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
8-12 years of experience, preferred
Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff
Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
Ensures employees operate within guidelines
Decisions have a short term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers
Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
Gains consensus from various parties involved
