Job summary

Apex Group Ltd. is seeking a senior fund accounting professional in the United States to lead client relationships for designated funds and expand cross‑selling opportunities.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in fund accounting, deep knowledge of complex fund structures, and a strong client‑service mindset to support NAVs, audits, and governance across hedge funds.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ fund accounting experience.
• Understanding of complex fund structures to act as SME.
• Strong commercial awareness and client service focus.
• Knowledge of partnership accounting, management and incentive fees.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Knowledge of investor KYC and AML requirements.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the client relationship management for assigned clients
• Actively cross selling our suite of services to our client base
• US GAAP reporting standard for various fund structures
• Assisting in the development of new & existing global client relationships, optimizing service offerings, productivity and profitability
• Management of the complete audit process
• Assist in the management of the NAV preparation and review process for our hedge fund clients
• Ensuring adherence to documented procedures and policies
• Work on the integration of large fund administration mandates
• Collaborating with operational centres
• Working on ad hoc internal and global projects (as required)
• Ensure all deliverables are met on a timely and accurate basis

Skills Required:

• Approximately 7+ years’ fund accounting experience
• An understanding of complex fund structures and fund accounting to act as subject matter expert to team
• A high degree of commercial awareness and client service focus
• Knowledge of partnership accounting, management fee and incentive fee methologies
• Strong leadership skills and supervisory experience of other professionals
• Excellent organizational and communication skills and the ability to work on own initiative consistently producing accurate and timely work
• Good interpersonal skills to develop working relationships with colleagues, clients, other divisions and professional intermediaries
• Demonstrated ability to automate processes
• Knowledge of investor KYC and AML requirements

Salary ranges from USD $ 115,000 - $ 140,000 additional market competitive variable uncapped compensation based on performance. Compensation within this range is dependent on individual's skills, experience and qualifications.
