Job description

Join to apply for the Manager, Clinical Supply Chain role at Immunocore.

This onsite role can be located at our Abingdon, UK office or in the US at either our Gaithersburg, MD or Conshohocken, PA locations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and facilitate supply chain discussions, ensuring effective communication with customers and partners.
  2. Develop supply chain strategies for clinical studies and portfolios.
  3. Design and implement labelling, packaging, and supply strategies to meet regulatory and study requirements, while maximizing efficiency.
  4. Manage label texts, translations, and proofs in collaboration with CMC and Regulatory teams.
  5. Produce and manage clinical supply agreements detailing supply operations.
  6. Ensure supply strategies balance cost, risk, and effectiveness.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for expert input.
  8. Translate clinical protocols into demand forecasts and aggregate demand across studies.
  9. Monitor budgets, review contracts, and manage relationships with vendors.
  10. Oversee activities related to procurement, distribution, and management of clinical supplies, including temperature excursions, forecasting, and inventory management.
  11. Ensure documentation compliance and support regulatory submissions.
  12. Train and present on clinical supply materials, potentially involving travel.
  13. Support quality management activities, including CAPAs and root cause analysis.
  14. Provide guidance and support to junior staff and deputize for senior management as needed.
  15. Assist in supplier selection and management of CMOs and depots.
  16. Drive procedural improvements for compliance.
Experience & Knowledge
  • Extensive experience in clinical trial supplies management, including cold chain and biopharmaceuticals.
  • Experience with IRT systems and multi-regional studies.
  • Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills, including managing CROs.
  • Thorough understanding of GxPs and global regulatory requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience working in matrix environments and managing budgets.
  • Experience across all phases of clinical trials, especially in Oncology.
  • Knowledge of drug forecasting and supply/demand management.
Education & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant scientific or business field, or equivalent experience.
  • Desirable: Master's or PhD in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • Proven computer skills with MS Office Suite and SharePoint.

Work authorization and a valid passport are required. Travel up to 5% may be involved.
