Job description

Precision for Medicine is looking for a Manager to join our Clinical Science Analytics & Insights team. The position can be fully remote in the UK, Spain, Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary, or Serbia.

Position Summary:

The Manager, Clinical Science Analytics & Insights (CSAI) is responsible for managing and developing CSAI personnel. They serve as a subject matter expert supporting departmental initiatives, business development, best practices, and training to enhance quality and productivity. The role requires leading and motivating a team to uphold data quality standards, ensuring appropriate resource allocation, and supporting career development to reduce turnover and boost employee satisfaction.

Essential Functions:
  1. Manage daily operations and workload of direct reports; ensure project deliverables are met.
  2. Develop team members through goal setting, performance reviews, and mentoring.
  3. Oversee onboarding and functional training for new staff.
  4. Communicate strategic goals and support career development and training initiatives.
  5. Ensure compliance with policies, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines.
  6. Retain high-quality staff and support departmental KPIs.
  7. Participate in project and financial management activities.
  8. Provide departmental expertise and support cross-functional communication.
  9. Contribute to policy and process development, and prepare reports.
  10. Support risk management and address operational challenges.
  11. Ensure systems and processes produce quality work efficiently.
  12. Allocate resources effectively and forecast workload needs.
  13. Engage in business development activities and participate in meetings.
  14. Develop and deliver departmental training and support process improvements.
  15. Collaborate on training initiatives and review SOPs and tools.
  16. Consult on project issues and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a science or health-related field with proficiency in medical terminology.
  • At least 8 years of clinical research experience or equivalent competencies.
  • Strong experience in oncological clinical trials, including on-site monitoring or data review.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience managing CRAs, including developing training programs and evaluation processes.
Other Requirements:
  • Experience with electronic data capture systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and oral.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Preferred:
  • Medical degrees or certifications (RN, OCN, RPH, PharmD, etc.).
  • Experience with database build and data visualization software like JReview.
  • Knowledge of FDA, ICH-GCP, SOPs, and clinical trial processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and improve processes.
  • Understanding of clinical trial methodologies and protocols.
  • Financial management skills at the project level.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
