Job summary

BayCare Health System in Clearwater, FL is seeking a Senior Risk Management professional to supervise Clinical Risk Management Supervisors and provide oversight for risk management activities across the organization.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and patient safety, with on-site support as needed, and collaborate with legal, nursing, and clinical leaders to drive continuous improvement. This role is full-time and exempt, with a typical shift pattern from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• RN License required.
• CPHRM required within two years of hire.
• 7 years Risk Management required.
• 10 years Legal preferred.
• 10 years Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees Clinical Risk Management Supervisors and provides education and oversight.

Summary

• Supervises and provides support, education, and oversight for Clinical Risk Management Supervisors, and provides support for Clinical Risk Managers.
• Provides leadership and oversight for clinical risk management activities, ensuring consistent implementation of risk management programs, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiatives throughout the organization, providing on-site support as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Master’s Degree preferred

Certification

• RN License required
• CPHRM required within two years of hire

Experience

• 7 years Risk Management required
• 10 years Legal preferred
• 10 years Nursing preferred
