The pay range for this position is $84,000-$131,300 based on direct and relevant experience.

RAYUS Radiology is looking for a Manager, Clinical Operations to join our team. The Manager, Clinical Operations (RN) is responsible for all operational aspects of managing the imaging, ambulatory surgery center (ASC) clinical centers, and the Pain Care program in the assigned market. Operational responsibilities include planning, team management, budget management, program development, and close collaboration with all partners, including physicians, maintaining relationships with referring groups, and ongoing customer service functions. The Manager, Clinical Operations (RN) is also responsible for meeting the quality, safety, and operational goals (i.e., efficiency, productivity, costs) for the market. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday, day shifts. Must be willing to travel to all Twin Cities centers.

Essential Job Functions
  • 35% Clinic Operations
    • Remains visible within the centers and understands the morale and workload
    • Maintains productive relationships with the center’s customer base in the defined market through delivery of extraordinary customer service and partnership with sales team
    • Interfaces with Radiologists, Physiatrists, and Mid-Level Providers to create and maintain up-to-date protocol manuals and center procedures
    • Interfaces with Medical Director, SVP/GM, and/or all clinical and administrative employees to ensure effective teamwork and efficient center operations
    • Administers quality programs and meets or exceeds key quality and productivity measures in patient service, customer (referral) service, clinical programs, and administrative functions
    • Maintains a safe environment for patients and staff with the assistance of the center safety coordinator
    • Monitor and provide training and education on emergency response, safety, OSHA, hazardous waste, infection control, ergonomics, sterilizing and competencies
    • Monitor grievance and incident reports; investigates and follows up
    • Monitor privileges and credentialing of physician group
    • Ensure compliance with state regulations and internal policies regarding documentation and tracking of safety and licensing-related items
    • Leads Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) patient survey process
    • Engages in quality assurance (QA) initiatives, such as data collection, analysis, reporting, quality assurance (QA) improvement project, quarterly meetings
    • Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines
  • 35% Clinic Operations
    • Leads team planning and hiring process
    • Manages and assists in the onboarding of new team members and ongoing training of team members, providing resource and clinical expertise
    • Manage team member performance evaluations, compensation recommendations and development, including coaching, performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions and/or termination
    • Makes regular observations of team members patient care practices and recommends changes based on excellence of quality care and efficiency
    • Leads regular team meetings and team member one-on-one discussions
    • Supports and conduct training efforts for continuing education for the team
    • Monitor, maintain, and manage team member files; licenses, BLS/ACLS, training/competency documents, immunizations, etc.
  • 25% Clinic Planning
    • Plan, organize, develop, implement and evaluate programs, goals, objectives, policies and procedures, etc., necessary for providing quality care and maintaining a sound operation
    • Advise on budget development and manage the Centers’ according to “Plan”
    • Monitors the performance and profitability of services offered
    • Provide ongoing and timely communication to management and team members regarding center performance, team member performance, events, issues, etc.
  • 5% Completes other tasks and projects assigned
Qualifications

Summary of Qualifications:

Required:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing
  • Registered Nurse with state license (as applicable), current and in good standing
  • Two (2) years’ professional nursing experience with exposure to radiology service
  • Five (5) years’ management/leadership experience in clinical setting
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Advanced Cardiopulmonary Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Requires the ability to travel occasionally
  • Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Experience in surgical centers and/or radiology
