Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System is seeking a Manager of Clinical Nutrition at the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will lead the nutrition services within DDSI Nutrition-Main Campus Hospital, supervise Registered Dietitians and Clinical Assistants, and drive clinical nutrition initiatives across the health system.

The role requires a Master's in nutrition/dietetics, RD certification, Ohio license, 3 years clinical dietitian experience, and 2 years of supervisory leadership; Monday through Friday,

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field.
• Completion of an Academy Nutrition and Dietetics-approved dietetic internship (or equivalent) and RD certification.
• Current license to practice dietetics in Ohio (LD).
• Three years of experience as a practicing dietitian in a clinical setting and leadership experience.

A caregiver in this position works Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm with no weekends or holidays required.

A caregiver who excels in this role will:

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory standards and handling human resource issues.


• Participate as a CHN management team member to assist in long-range planning.


• Carry out strategic clinical nutrition initiatives for the health system.


• Supervise assigned personnel including Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and Clinical Assistants

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:

• Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field.


• Completion of an Academy Nutrition and Dietetics-approved dietetic internship (or equivalent dietitian-qualifying experience) and current certification as a registered dietitian (RD).


• Current license to practice dietetics in the State of Ohio (LD).


• Three years of experience as a practicing dietitian in a clinical setting.


• Two years of supervisory/leadership experience with proven ability to lead the work of others.

Physical Requirements:

A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC; normal or corrected vision to normal range; extensive sitting and frequent walking; occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds.
