  • In lieu of a degree, 5 years of related work experience.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical engineering practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Budget, project management, and strategic planning skills and experience.
  • Evidence of continuing professional self-development.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily activities and staff who provides safety testing, repairs, calibrates, inspects, and performs preventive maintenance diagnostic and therapeutic patient care equipment for the entire System.
  • Works in a project management and informatics coordinator capacity to ensure interdepartmental operability system-wide.
  • Helps facilitate safe, timely, efficient, and equitable delivery of care.
  • Oversees contract management, safety alerts and recalls, and other supply chain-related duties in the department.
  • Helps ensures the Clinical Engineering function complies with The Joint Commission® (TJC) and other regulatory, accreditation, and inspection agency requirements, guidelines, and standards.

Biweekly Hours: 80.00

Shift: 7:30-4:00

Summary

  • Experience using Clinical Engineering asset management software.
  • Experience in the lead "supervisory" experience role.
Physical Demands
