The MetroHealth System in Cleveland is seeking a Biomedical/Clinical Engineering leader to oversee daily operations, safety testing, repairs, calibration, and preventive maintenance of medical equipment across the system. Manages daily activities and staff who provides safety testing, repairs, calibrates, inspects, and performs preventive maintenance diagnostic and therapeutic patient care equipment for the entire System. Works in a project management and informatics coordinator capacity to ensure interdepartmental operability system-wide. Helps facilitate safe, timely, efficient, and equitable delivery of care. Oversees contract management, safety alerts and recalls, and other supply chain-related duties in the department. Helps ensures the Clinical Engineering function complies with The Joint Commission® (TJC) and other regulatory, accreditation, and inspection agency requirements, guidelines, and standards.
