The Civil Engineering Manager is a key member of the Ware Malcomb senior management team, responsible for the growth, revenue, profitability, staff management, and client relationships of the Dallas civil engineering organization. This role involves nurturing a positive, team-oriented environment, ensuring financial goals and deadlines are met, procuring work through business development, and managing select projects.

Our civil engineering team, comprising over 100 members nationwide, adopts a collaborative approach that blends visionary engineering design, ensuring every project meets and exceeds client expectations.

Your Role

• Prepare proposals and contracts for civil engineering projects
• Review project revenue projections, monthly financial reports, and business reports
• Manage select projects
• Responsible for the growth and financial success of the group
• Attend hearings and planning meetings
• Market and promote new work for Ware Malcomb
• Attend networking functions and establish regular client meetings
• Oversee operations of the group
• Train, mentor, and supervise team members
• Recruit and hire new team members

Qualifications

• 10+ years of civil engineering experience, specifically in Land Development Civil Engineering Design
• Experience at the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager level; prior leadership experience preferred
• Experience developing and maintaining client relationships
• Professional Engineering license (PE)
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
