Job summary

Consolidated Edison, Inc. seeks an IT team leader to coordinate the design, development and implementation of computer applications for Central Engineering and its extended customers.

The role includes providing troubleshooting, problem diagnostics and resolution, and offering general support for the corporate infrastructure, including CAD Autodesk software and the Adept document management system, while acting as a technical consultant on systems and proposed applications.

Qualifications

• Experience leading IT teams to coordinate the design, development and implementation of computer applications for large engineering organizations.
• Ability to provide troubleshooting, problem diagnostics and resolution for enterprise infrastructure, including CAD Autodesk software and Adept Document Management System.
• Act as organizational technical consultant on systems and proposed applications, ensuring work is on schedule, within budget and aligned with ETS guidelines, safety, environmental and quality requirements.

Job description

The prime function of this position is to manage an IT team responsible for coordinating the design, development, and implementation of computer applications for Central Engineering and its extended customers. Provide troubleshooting, problem diagnostics and resolution, and general support for the corporate infrastructure in Central Engineering including Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software suite (Autodesk) and a Document Management System, Adept. Act as organizational technical consultant on systems and proposed applications. Ensure that the completion of work is on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with applicable ETS guidelines, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
