Reports administratively to the Director of Interventional Services and partners with the Medical Directors of the cath lab and interventional radiology. When providing clinical care in either lab, this position will be under the technical direction of the interventional cardiologist or radiologist. The role is responsible for the management/operational aspects of patient care delivery, equipment, supplies, professional staff development and education, support of research and fiscal administration/accountability within the cath/IR labs. Leads the labs by example with regards to clinical excellence. Acts as a liaison for supervisor, nursing/technical staff as well as administration in planning, implementing, communicating, evaluating and coordinating patient care operations associated with CHHS's mission, vision and values.
