Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL seeks a high-level Radiology/Cardiovascular Supervisor to manage cath lab and interventional radiology services. You will coordinate procedures with medical teams, oversee budgeting and staffing, and lead quality improvement initiatives across departments.

The role requires 1+ year supervisory experience and 5+ years in cath lab/interventional radiology, with RN/RCIS/CET/BLS/ACLS credentials. Day shift, full-time, onsite at the Tampa facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology, Cardiopulmonary/ Cardiovascular Technology or Registered Nurse with current state license, registration or certification.
• 5+ years experience including cardiac cath and interventional radiology.
• 1+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all Department equipment is operating, scheduling service as needed to minimize downtime.
• Ensures patient satisfaction with services and programs in the area of responsibility.
• Coordinates scheduled procedures with Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, and Radiology Staff.
• Assists with the preparation and management of the operational budget, including productivity and capital budget for areas of responsibility.
• Identifies areas for business growth and process changes to increase quality, assisting front-line staff in successfully meeting their goals.
• Develops an annual departmental and personal action plan to successfully meet the hospital's Critical Success Factors.
• Monitors staff’s pre-procedure chart review and post-procedural call back.

Develops an annual departmental and personal action plan to successfully meet the hospital's Critical Success Factors. Performs other duties as assigned. Monitors staff’s ability and follow-through with pre-procedure chart review and post-procedural call back. Performs and/or assists staff with routine assignments. Organizes daily work volume and assigns staff responsibilities for Invasive Cardiology Procedures (Cath Lab) and Interventional Radiology (Special Procedures, procedural sedation for radiology patients). Reviews staff availability and scheduled procedures for the following day, adjusting staff as needed.
