Job summary

Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital is seeking an Area Manager of Cardiopulmonary Services. This full-time role leads Respiratory Therapy, EKG, EEG and Pulmonary Rehabilitation, reporting to the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services.

The position emphasizes administration, development, and evaluation of cardiopulmonary services, with a commitment to patient-focused care and mutual respect within the Providence team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited respiratory care program (CoARC/CAAHEP).
• California Respiratory Care Practitioner License required upon hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Minimum 2 years hospital-based respiratory care practitioner experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Cardiopulmonary Services including Respiratory Therapy, EKG, EEG and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.
• Manage administration, development, and evaluation of cardiopulmonary services.
• Support the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services and uphold patient-focused care.

Under the general direction of the Director of Cardiopulmonary Services, the Area Manager of Cardiopulmonary Services is responsible for overseeing all components of Cardiopulmonary Services. Responsible for the administration, management, planning, development, and evaluation of Respiratory Therapy, EKG, EEG and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Required qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Graduate of a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) OR the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP)
• Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• 2 years Recent acute care experience.
• 2 years Experience as a hospital-based Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 2 years Experience in a supervisorial or managerial role.
