This is your chance to be part of a Global Sales Team that ensures Hilton owners and operators receive the combined benefits of scale, access, competence, and experience. As a Manager, Business Travel Sales in the Private Equity market, you will support the team responsible for providing a differentiated selling platform for Hilton's diverse portfolio of brands by being motivated to grow market share. On the Americas Business Travel Sales team reporting to the Senior Sales Director, you will focus on onboarding new Portfolio Companies, retaining offboarding accounts, and growing market share with existing accounts. Your primary goal; to increase revenue and room night production through account penetration, while overseeing the annual RFP process for your assigned accounts.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Your role is important and below are some of the fundamental job duties that make your work unique.

What your day-to-day will be like:

  • Stay up to date on Private Equity trends, including Portfolio Company investments and divestitures, to align strategies with Hilton's best interests
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Portfolio Company relationships into broader B2B solutions
  • Provide total client solutions by leveraging Hilton Worldwide Sales resources and valuable interdepartmental partners
  • Navigate complex, multi-tiered account hierarchies to advocate for Hilton at every level
  • Deliver tailored sales presentations to clients with multifaceted needs, offering holistic business travel solutions
  • Grow client accounts using Hilton's sales methodologies while strengthening existing relationships
  • Apply strategic sales techniques to increase revenue and total brand utilization
  • Overcome client objections through repositioning strategies or negotiation
  • Personalize client acquisition strategies to enhance sales performance and conversion rates
  • Showcase an understanding of sales strategies to improve client revenue and surpass goals
  • Manage client data using Hilton's CRM tools and best practices
  • Communicate hotel promotions to support client objectives
  • Analyze industry trends and competitor positioning to respond to evolving client needs

How you will collaborate with others:
  • Clients - you will convey information to influence a favorable buying decision and potentially foster a B2B partnership
  • Brands - you will create partnerships using a defined and differentiated sales approach to improve and collect up-to-date knowledge of existing Hotels, New Development, processes/procedures to share with customers to influence positive buying decisions and revenue production
  • Hotels - you will engage, collaborate with and support hotel team members as you work together to increase performance and success.
  • Colleagues - you will be a part of a "one-team" commercial culture of collaboration to maximize enterprise success. You will frequently work with sales support team members on internal processes to support your accounts.

What deliverables you will take ownership of:
  • You will cultivate partnerships with medium-volume national BTS accounts under the Private Equity Vertical. Your responsibilities will include onboarding new Firms and Portfolio Companies, implementing retention strategies for offboarding clients, uncovering new opportunities for Project, Meeting and Events and Group business and expanding relationships with existing accounts to increase revenue and room night production.

You have these minimum qualifications:

  • Five (5) years of work experience in hospitality / travel industry
  • Two (2) years of experience in business travel
  • Experience in account management with a demonstrated history of driving performance
  • Willing to travel up to 25%

It would be useful if you have:
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with MicroStrategy
  • Previous national sales or multi-property sales experience
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in business development
  • Previous experience onboarding and managing new accounts
  • Experience with Hilton's OnQ Solicitation Management tool and other RFP tools
