Job summary

Spectrum is seeking a Manager, Business Sales to lead a high-performing account executive team in the SMB market. You will coach, mentor and drive a field-focused strategy to exceed sales budgets, while maintaining customer excellence and Spectrum’s trusted brand.

You will spend the majority of time in the field guiding your team, with responsibilities across planning, reporting and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of telecommunications product and services sales experience.
• 5+ years of business-to-business sales management experience.
• Fluent English communications.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets.
• Spend 80% of time in the field supporting the team and 20% handling office responsibilities and administrative tasks.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive team territory plan while setting and monitoring individual sales goals.
• Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations to maintain efficiency.
• Organize regular meetings to keep the team informed of tools, process and product updates.
• Recruit, train and coach Account Executives, handling employee relations, performance reviews and ensuring training compliance.
• Oversee daily funnel activity for individual sales representatives, including contacts, presentations and sales.
• Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting for all sales activities.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of Spectrum’s product offerings, marketplace trends and competitive landscape.

• Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
