Spectrum seeks a Manager, Business Sales to lead a high-performing SMB sales team and drive growth across Spectrum’s communications solutions. You will mentor Account Executives, align activities with budgeted targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The role emphasizes field presence, territory planning, and ongoing coaching to maintain an edge in a competitive market while keeping teams informed of product updates and market trends.

Qualifications

• Read, write, speak and understand English.
• Experience organizing, implementing and maintaining sales goals.
• Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with a focus on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
• Valid state driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets.
• Spend 80% of time in the field supporting the team and 20% handling office tasks.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive territory plans while setting and monitoring sales goals.
• Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations to maintain efficiency.
• Organize regular meetings to keep the team informed of tools, processes and product updates.
• Recruit, train and coach Account Executives, handling employee relations and performance reviews.
• Oversee daily funnel activity for sales reps, including contacts, presentations and sales.
• Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting for all sales activities.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum’s product offerings, market trends and competitive landscape.

Education

Experience

• 5+ years of telecommunications product and services sales experience
• 5+ years of business-to-business sales management experience
