Job summary

Charter Communications is seeking a Manager, Business Sales to lead a high-performing sales team targeting SMB customers. You will mentor account executives, drive growth, and ensure top-tier customer experiences while meeting and exceeding budgets.

In this role you will spend 80% in the field supporting your team and 20% in the office, develop territory plans, monitor goals, recruit and coach staff, and maintain accurate reporting and knowledge of Spectrum offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of telecommunications product and services sales experience.
• 5+ years of business-to-business sales management experience.
• Read, write, speak and understand English
• Valid state driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coach, lead and motivate a team of Account Executives to achieve and exceed sales and performance targets.
• Spend 80% of time in the field supporting the team and 20% in the office handling administrative tasks.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive team territory plan while setting and monitoring individual sales goals.
• Resolve customer complaints and address issues impacting sales operations to maintain efficiency.
• Organize regular meetings to keep the team informed of tools, processes and product updates.
• Recruit, train and coach Account Executives, handling employee relations and performance reviews.
• Oversee daily funnel activity for sales representatives, including contacts, presentations and sales.
• Ensure accurate completion of administrative tasks and reporting for all sales activities.
• Maintain knowledge of Spectrum's product offerings, marketplace trends and competitive landscape.
