The Manager, Business Operations in the Department of Neurological Surgery provides comprehensive strategic, financial, and operational leadership across all administrative functions of the unit. This role is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the full spectrum of business operations, including financial management, human capital administration, operational processes, facilities and resource coordination, and cross-functional collaboration. Serving as a key advisor to departmental leadership, the Manager translates strategic priorities into actionable operational plans, ensuring alignment between organizational goals and resource allocation. The role leverages advanced data analytics, financial modeling, and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen long-term business sustainability. This position plays a critical role in leading business transformation initiatives, enhancing internal processes, and ensuring that all administrative and operational functions are executed with a high level of accuracy, compliance, and service excellence. Through proactive leadership and continuous improvement efforts, the Manager ensures the department remains agile, efficient, and aligned with institutional objectives.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree may be desirable. 5 years of relevant experience required. 8-12 years of relevant experience preferred. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen.
