UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama seeks a finance professional to oversee daily financial operations across divisions and deliver detailed analyses to senior leadership.
Responsibilities include creating projections, implementing financial policies, and supporting data interpretation, billing, cost accounting and systems. A bachelor's in accounting/finance or related field with 5 years' experience is required; MBA/healthcare finance is a plus.
Pay range: $73,945 - $120,165 / year
Shifts: full-time AM and PM

To manage day-to-day financial operations for assigned divisional areas within the institution. To provide detailed financial analysis and projections to senior management, implement policies and procedures related to financial operations, and recommend changes that will accrue to the institution's profitability. May serve as a resource to the senior department management for data analysis and interpretation, billing information, cost accounting information and financial accounting systems.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.
