Job summary

Qualifications

  • At least one certification related to IT management frameworks (Six Sigma, ITIL, PMI, COBIT, CMMI) or technical certs (MCSE, CISSP).
  • Master Degree in Business, Information Management or Computer Science.
  • Proven experience leading IS department applications management.
  • Strong leadership and budgeting capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Applications Team and manage IS operations.
  • Oversee recruitment, growth and retention of staff.
  • Ensure 24/7 oversight for quality and cost-effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with IS Managers on strategic planning.
  • Develop systems and metrics to monitor performance.

Pay Rate: Min $98,467.20 Mid $123,094.40

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing leadership to the IS department and for management of its human, material and financial resources. Serves as a member of the Information Management Leadership team. Plans, directs, and manages the overall operations of the Applications Team. Manager is also responsible for talent recruitment, growth and retention. In collaboration with other IS Managers, has the responsibility for twenty four hour oversight to ensure the quality and cost effective delivery of Information Services. Manager reports to the Director of Information Solutions.

  • Manages resources involved in all aspects of information systems analysis, planning, design, development, testing, and implementation
  • Participates in strategic and tactical planning related to clinical applications and recommends solutions based on industry trends and understanding of the organization's workflows and needs.
  • Develops systems and metrics to monitor and improve departmental performance.
  • Coordinates the development and adherence to IT processes and security.
  • Provides direct oversight to projects to ensure quality, maintainability and timely delivery of the solution.
