Description

At Northrop Grumman, our employees have incredible opportunities to work on revolutionary systems that impact people's lives around the world today, and for generations to come. Our pioneering and inventive spirit has enabled us to be at the forefront of many technological advancements in our nation's history - from the first flight across the Atlantic Ocean, to stealth bombers, to landing on the moon. We look for people who have bold new ideas, courage and a pioneering spirit to join forces to invent the future, and have fun along the way. Our culture thrives on intellectual curiosity, cognitive diversity and bringing your whole self to work — and we have an insatiable drive to do what others think is impossible. Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.

As part of a team dedicated to winning new business and market development, the successful candidate will lead the customer engagement in this area and cross company collaboration to drive capture wins and new awards. Day-to-day activities will include customer engagement planning, pipeline management, opportunity architecting, developing strategic partnerships, and new business investment management. As part of a matrixed team, the manager will be required to collaborate with functional support organizations including business management, engineering, contracts, global supply chain, and security to assess opportunity risks.

The ideal candidate will be able to work across all security domains. The candidate must have exceptional communications (oral and written), strategic thinking, time management skills, and negotiation abilities in support of framing strategies and mission CONOPS, developing requirements with the warfighter, and establishing strategic teaming.

Specific job duties include:
  1. Researching and analyzing the technical, operational, customer, and partner elements of the SIGINT, Electronic Support Measures (ESM), and autonomy market areas across air, land, sea, undersea, and space domains
  2. Developing customer engagement strategies and serving as the face of the business to our customer.
  3. Identification, qualification, and sustainment of business opportunities within a larger market pipeline
  4. Developing and maintaining market strategies to facilitate business growth
  5. Supporting capture and proposal activities
  6. Supporting the development of investment plans
Basic Qualifications:
  1. 10 years combined relevant experience with a BA degree or 8 years’ experience with a master’s degree
  2. Current TS/SCI clearance
  3. Demonstrated experience in the DoD and IC marketplace
  4. Familiarity with SIGINT and ESM missions and capabilities in any domain
