Status: Full-time, permanent position (40 hours). Standard working hours: 8am to 5pm EST, M-F, with evening shift as needed/back-up. Location: This is an onsite position at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA.
The Manager, Behavioral Health Service Delivery provides operational leadership for behavioral health programs and practices across the Southeast market, with an initial focus on Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services. This position is responsible for the daily management and performance of assigned behavioral health practices while also supporting the development, implementation, and operationalization of new behavioral health programs and locations. As services expand, the Manager will provide oversight across multiple PHP/IOP practices and ensure consistent operations, quality, regulatory compliance, patient access, staffing, and financial performance across the market. The Manager works closely with Enterprise Behavioral Health leadership, physicians, clinical leaders, hospital and ambulatory operations, finance, revenue cycle, compliance, and other partners to create a coordinated and sustainable behavioral health service delivery model.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the ability to manage established clinical operations while simultaneously building and implementing new programs. The position requires strong operational leadership, change management, collaboration, problem solving, financial awareness, and the ability to lead teams across multiple locations.
Bachelor's degree in nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Healthcare Administration, or a related clinical discipline. (Required); Master’s preferred
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) (Preferred) OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) (Preferred) OR Registered Nurse License (RN) (Preferred)
Five years clinical experience in behavioral health. (Required) One year’s experience in a supervisory or lead role. (Required)
