Aspire Bakeries is seeking a Manager, Bakery - Warehouse - 1st Shift in Santa Ana, CA. You will lead all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, and distribution, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant performance while supporting production and customer service objectives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1–2 years of warehouse experience with leadership, SAP experience, and forklift operation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coach warehouse team members through training and engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, OSHA, DOT, GMP, and HACCP across processes.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and FIFO practices.
• Optimize warehouse workflows, schedules, and material handling to improve productivity.
• Monitor KPIs for safety, quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with production, transportation, and leadership to meet goals.

About the Role

We are seeking a Manager, Bakery - Warehouse - 1st Shift to join our team at our Santa Ana, CA bakery. As a Manager, Bakery - Warehouse - 1st Shift, you will be accountable for leading all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and distribution activities. This role is critical to ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant warehouse performance while supporting production and customer service objectives.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 1st Shift
• Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• Weekend Availability: Required

Compensation

Salary Range: $85,800 - $112,285

Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

• Lead warehouse operations to ensure efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
• Develop and coach warehouse team members through training, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, OSHA, DOT, GMP, and HACCP requirements across all warehouse processes.
• Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts, FIFO practices, inventory controls, and monthly inventory processes.
• Optimize warehouse workflows, schedules, resources, and material handling processes to improve productivity and service levels.
• Monitor key performance indicators related to safety, quality, cost control, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery.
• Partner with production, transportation, and leadership teams to support operational goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience in a food manufacturing, distribution, or related environment with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience using SAP or similar warehouse management systems.
• Previous sit-down forklift operating experience.
• Ability to lift 20-50 lbs. repeatedly and perform manual material handling activities.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking).
• Strong leadership, communication, and employee development skills.
• Experience managing multi-shift warehouse operations, budgets, labor resources, and performance metrics.
• Proven success in process improvement, change management, and strategic planning within food manufacturing or consumer goods environments.
