Aprio is seeking a Manager, Audit to lead client engagements and audit projects with a commitment to quality, professional excellence, and lasting client relationships. You will serve as a primary contact for clients and internal teams, delivering insight-driven service across complex engagements.

You will guide and develop audit staff while actively contributing to firm growth through business development in a national CPA firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 4–7 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong analytical capabilities related to financial statements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Accounting or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements and client projects with quality and timely delivery.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, partners, and staff.
• Coach and develop audit staff, providing ongoing guidance and feedback.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting client relationships.
• Contribute to business development by identifying opportunities to expand firm services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple audit engagements and client projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, partners, and staff — communicating engagement expectations, status updates, and key outcomes clearly and proactively.
• Manage, coach, and develop audit staff, providing ongoing guidance and performance feedback to support professional growth.
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and colleagues through consistent, client-centered service.
• Actively contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities to expand firm services and originate new client relationships.

Qualifications:

• Developed specialties in Real Estate and Affordable Housing.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required4–7 years of experience in public accounting.
• Strong analytical capabilities related to financial statements and financial data.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with clients and colleagues.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, lead independently, and make sound decisions.
• Preferred: Master's degree in Accounting or related field.
