Job Title: Manager Athletic Trainer Outreach

The Manager Athletic Trainer Outreach oversees and manages the outreach efforts of athletic trainers. This position is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote the organization's athletic training services, building relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to athletes and sports teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversees an athletic training room and staff, including direct oversight of full-time athletic trainers.
2. Provides direct supervision typically to professionals or skilled technical employees at the entry or intermediate level.
3. Advises unit and administration, setting goals and objectives for team members to achieve operational results.
4. Analyzes and resolves problems drawing from prior experiences.
5. Interprets policies related to fiscal management, HR, contracts, grants, and resource management, demonstrating solid subject matter knowledge.
6. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and policies to determine appropriate actions.
7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Athletic Training, or Physical Education with an Athletic Training emphasis.
• Experience: Four years of experience as an athletic trainer.
• Licensure/Certification: NATABOC Certification, LAT - Licensed Athletic Trainer by NC Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners, and BLS certification from American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider.
