Job summary

C.H. Robinson Worldwide is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Manager Engineering to lead the Application Hosting team and drive reliability across Windows IIS, Linux hosting, and middleware services.

This hands-on leadership role combines technical architecture, incident response, and people management to deliver secure, scalable hosting platforms for mission-critical applications. You will guide a globally distributed team, partner with Security, Architecture, and Infrastructure leaders,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of infrastructure engineering or platform engineering experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership experience leading technical teams.
• Extensive experience administering and supporting Windows Server environments.
• Strong experience with IIS administration and application hosting.
• Experience supporting Linux-based platforms and applications.
• Experience with routing, traffic management, and load balancing technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical troubleshooting and incident response efforts.
• Experience leading technical discussions, architecture reviews, and platform design decisions.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

• Manage deployments, platform upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Serve as the technical leader and escalation point for the Application Hosting team.
• Lead technical troubleshooting and complex problem resolution efforts.
• Facilitate architecture and design discussions related to application hosting platforms.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers.
• Drive modernization and automation initiatives across hosting environments.

Robinson is seeking experienced Infrastructure Manager Engineering on our Application Hosting team to lead a globally distributed Application Hosting team responsible for delivering reliable, secure, scalable, and highly available application hosting platforms. This role requires a hands‑on technical leader who can balance people leadership, operational excellence, and technical expertise. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for Windows and Linux application hosting environments, IIS platforms, routing technologies, load balancing solutions, and middleware services that support critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate is not simply a people manager, but a technical manager capable of leading architectural discussions, troubleshooting complex production issues, serving as an escalation point, and driving engineering excellence across the team.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

Compensation Range

$119,800.00 - $202,300.00

The base pay range displayed on the job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base pay for this specific location. Your individual base pay within this range is determined by job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
