Job summary

Extend is seeking a Lead Analytics Engineer to drive the data platform powering pricing, risk, fraud and financial reporting.

You will own the end-to-end data stack and mentor a remote team of engineers, reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, Data Engineering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing engineers on a data or analytics engineering team.
• Advanced SQL, dimensional modeling, and deep dbt experience.
• Pipeline engineering in Python and AWS; reliability ownership and analytical partnership.

• Own the dbt repository, Snowflake warehouse, and data pipelines with rigorous change control.
• Model core business domains (orders, contracts, claims) to ensure consistent answers across teams.
• Run platform operations including on-call, monitoring, and incident response.
