Job description

The Manager Ambulatory Oncology Clinical Operations will be responsible for organizing, directing, and overseeing patients in the offsite oncology clinics within the Physician Network system. This includes both infusion and medical oncology clinics. The position reports to the Vice President of John Muir Health Physician Practices and collaborates with managers, staff, and an interdisciplinary team to standardize, update, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance. The role promotes adherence to internal standards, regulatory, and accreditation requirements, working with leadership and staff to recommend updates.

Education:
  • Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing - Required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing - Required
Experience:
  • 5 years of Nursing experience, including leadership as a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager - Required
  • 3-7 years of Medical Oncology Nursing experience - Required
Certifications/Licensures:
  • RN Registered Nursing license from the California Board of Nursing - Required
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association - Required
  • ONS / ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certificate from ONS Oncology Nursing Society - Required or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Additional requirements may apply for specialty areas
  • Oncology Certified Nurse from Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation - Preferred
  • Specialty Certifications from ANCC - Preferred within 2 years of hire; must be listed on accepted certifications for Magnet status (link)
Skills:

Work Details:

Work Shift: Exempt Salaried (United States of America)

Pay Range: $176,276.00 - $264,415.00

Offer amounts are based on demonstrated/relevant experience and licensure. Pay will be adjusted to the local market if hired outside of the Bay Area.

Note: Positions listed as exempt (not eligible for overtime) under the level of Manager are posted as hourly for compensation purposes. The work shift will include the word 'exempt'.
