Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) at MCAS Beaufort, SC, seeks a Manager Aircraft Maintenance 1 to lead CLS sustainment efforts for F-35 maintenance. You will supervise and coordinate personnel, develop programs, and ensure on-time milestones for organizational-level maintenance.

The role requires a Secret clearance, strong supervisory skills, and a flexible schedule including shifts and on-call readiness.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years supervising aircraft maintenance workloads.
• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience; or Master's with 3+ years.
• One year minimum as a Maintenance or Production Control Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage CLS sustainment operations with the CLS site manager.
• Serve as focal point for sustainment efforts by the CLS team.
• Coordinate with customers and support agencies on constraints and risks affecting milestones.
• Develop, track, update and report aircraft status for contracted work.
• Direct employees to initiate actions for out-of-scope maintenance tasks.
