Job summary

Otter Products is seeking a Manager, Technical Program Management - AI in Fort Collins, CO. Hybrid work is available. You will lead enterprise AI initiatives, align business strategy with technical execution, and manage a team of interns and cross-functional contributors.

You will partner with executives to shape AI strategy, drive program delivery, and implement governance, metrics, and scalable processes while ensuring ethical and compliant AI use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CS/Data Science preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in technical program management, including data or AI environments.
• Experience as a mentor/ supervisor is required.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Microsoft Foundry, Google Gemini is preferred.
• Agile experience and certifications are strongly preferred.
• Lean/Six Sigma experience and/or certification is a plus.
• PMP, CAPM, or CSM certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle of AI programs from ideation to delivery and improvement.
• Partner with executive leadership to define AI strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Translate AI concepts into actionable program plans aligned with goals.
• Establish governance, metrics, and reporting across AI initiatives.
• Drive planning, scheduling, and execution of AI and technology initiatives.

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager, Technical Program Management - AI to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives. This people leader role will oversee a team of technical interns and cross-functional contributors, ensuring alignment between business strategy, technical innovation, and operational execution. Responsibilities

• Program Leadership & Strategy
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of AI programs, from ideation and prioritization through delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with executive leadership to define AI strategy, roadmap, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Translate complex AI concepts into actionable program plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Establish governance frameworks, success metrics, and reporting mechanisms across AI initiatives.
• Program Execution & Delivery
  • Drive planning, scheduling, and execution of AI and technology initiatives.
  • Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and budget constraints.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and operational challenges.
  • Implement scalable processes and best practices for AI program management.
• AI Governance & Ethics
  • Support the responsible and ethical use of AI systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, and organizational standards.
  • Promote transparency, fairness, and accountability in AI initiatives.
• Team Leadership & Development
  • Directly manage and develop a team of interns and/or project leads.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive team effectiveness and growth.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
  • Allocate resources and prioritize work across multiple AI programs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with data science, information technology, engineering, marketing, product, finance, legal, compliance, and business stakeholders to prioritize and drive business results.
  • Facilitate alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Navigate ambiguity and drive decision-making across competing priorities.
• Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of five years of relevant experience in technical program management, including in data or AI-related environments, is required.
• Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, Microsoft Foundry, Google Gemini strong preferred.

USD $135,000.00/Yr.

For US Based Roles Only - Base Compensation Range Maximum

USD $170,000.00/Yr.
