LexisNexis Legal & Professional is seeking a Manager of Data Science to lead a high-impact team building intelligent LLM/RAG-powered legal drafting systems in Raleigh, NC. You will guide strategy, architecture, and delivery across data scientists and ML engineers.

You will partner with Legal SMEs, product managers, and design, ensure responsible AI practices, and drive production-grade pipelines using LangChain, vector stores, and cloud infra.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management of teams building LLM-based applications.
• Experience delivering LLM-powered applications from prototype to production.
• Background in legal, finance, or compliance domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define roadmap for applying LLMs and agentic AI to legal drafting.
• Architect systems combining foundation models with RAG pipelines.
• Mentor a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with Legal SMEs, Data Engineers, PMs, and Design.
