Job summary

UnityPoint Health is seeking a Manager of Aging Services to oversee the daily operations of the adult day center, ensuring compliance with licensing, accreditation, and regulations. You will lead staff, collaborate with the Director of Aging Services, and drive program development to deliver high-quality elder care.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, or Human Services and have at least one year of supervision or management experience.

• Ensures compliance with governing, licensing, and accreditation guidelines
• Recruit, hire, orient, and supervise staff and volunteers.
• Oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement related to Adult Day Services.
• Program development and design in conjunction with the Director of Aging Services.
• Maintain the physical plant of the center at the highest level of operation and appearance. Effectively markets the comprehensive services offered by Adult Day Services.

Overview

The manager of Aging Services is responsible for the overall daily operations of the adult day center including ensuring compliance with rules, regulations, and accreditation standards. Directs and implements adult day health services, promotes and supports the objectives of Aging Services, and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission of Aging Services.
