Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Cloud Architect/Enterprise Architect to lead cloud strategy, modernization and architecture across healthcare clients. You will guide migrations and new app development in cloud environments, working with senior teams in a fast-paced, client-focused setting.

You will help design scalable cloud solutions, drive technical visions, and present complex concepts to clients while navigating healthcare regulatory requirements and security considerations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years IT experience.
• 12+ years in infrastructure, architecture or delivery.
• 10+ years digital transformation across business lines.
• 7+ years legacy and cloud modernization.
• 5+ years consulting with top firms or hyperscalers (Azure/AWS).
• 5+ years cloud data, AI or process improvement.
• 5+ years sales process and opportunity management.
• Experience preparing POVs and client facing assets.
• Familiar with latest cloud trends in healthcare.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory specs like HIPAA, PHI, PII.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Cloud SME on Cloud, Enterprise Architecture and related technologies.
• Lead vision and manage complex, high visibility projects.
• Drive cloud strategy, data modernization, architecture and infra roadmaps for clients.
• Act as solution architect for cloud and data in new apps or migration efforts.
• Prepare client-ready material and lead strategy/architecture discussions.
• Design architecture solutions leveraging public/private/hybrid clouds.
• Demonstrate cloud automation, monitoring and optimization.

We are looking for a Cloud Architect who will be part of PTS practice and can help us modernize existing applications

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week.

Primary Responsibilities

• Serve as the Cloud subject matter expert on Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, and many other Technologies
• Deep experience in developing vision and leading complex and high visibility projects
• Deep experience in developing cloud strategy, cloud data modernization strategy, architecture, and infrastructure roadmap for client organizations
• Serve as solution architect for broad areas in cloud and data for new application developments or migration of existing infrastructure and applications to Cloud
• Comfortable in designing, preparing client ready material and presenting to the clients or facilitating Cloud strategy / architecture discussions with clients
• Generate architecture solution leveraging public / private/ or hybrid cloud deployment patterns
• Experience in cloud automation, cloud monitoring, and Cloud optimization

Required Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT
• 12+ years of IT experience in Infrastructure management, application design, architecture, or application delivery
• 10+ years of digital transformation experience with broad business areas and lines of business
• 7+ years of solid legacy modernization, cloud modernization experience
• 5+ years in Consulting with top 4 consulting organizations or hyperscalers (Azure and/or AWS)
• 5+ years of deep experience in areas adjacent to cloud like data engineering, AI, process improvement, etc.
• 5+ years of experience with sales process and opportunity tracking and management

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience to prepare POV's and other Client facing assets
• Familiar with latest trends in Cloud and their relevance / use in healthcare
• Broad understanding of Cloud based security solutions and familiar with healthcare specific regulatory specifications like HIPPA, PHI, PII

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 - $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
