Job summary

KPMG LLP is hiring for a senior SAP/IT consultant requiring deep SAP ABAP and cloud platform experience. The role includes development across ABAP OO, SAP RAP/CAP, BTP Kyma, and Cloud Foundry while supporting governance, data quality, and process controls.

Travel up to 15% domestically and internationally may be required. Work schedule is full-time with the potential for telecommuting within a commutable distance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in related field with 2 years of related work experience, or Bachelor’s with 5 years of post-bachelor’s experience.
• 2 years of experience with SAP ABAP concepts, SAP RAP/CAP, SAP BTP Kyma Runtime, Cloud Foundry, and related development.
• Experience with governance, data quality, and change management within SAP/IT programs.

Job description

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENT:

Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.

Travel to various international locations required up to 5%.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor’s, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: SAP ABAP concepts, guidelines, SAP architecture and ABAP (Advance Business Application Programming) Object Oriented programming; SAP RAP/CAP (RESTful application programming/Cloud Application Programming), SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform)-Kyma Runtime (Kubernetes container and microservices based applications), Cloud Foundry runtime (node.js and xml) Development expert, Low Code/Pro Code, and SAP Build including use case of Joule AI and BPA (Build Process Automation); BTP (Business Technology Platform), CDS (Core Data Services) Views, AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures), Workflows, IDOCs (Intermediate documents used in EDI), OData, Fiori, BADIs (Business Add-Ins), and BAPIs (Business Application Programming Interface); Object Oriented development, SOLID design principles, Test Driven Development and Clean core concepts; and Governance, controls, process and procedures, centers of competency, change management, conceptual data modeling, master data management, data standardization and stewardship, information integrity and compliance, and data quality management.

Telecommuting may be permitted within commutable distance from the office location, depending on business need.
