Job summary

Arise Virtual Solutions Inc. is seeking a Manager, Accounting Compliance to lead the global accounting compliance and statutory reporting function. You will ensure adherence to US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Ind AS, manage audits, and coordinate tax filings across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities, and will guide changes in standards while supporting complex transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 8+ years in accounting, audit, statutory reporting, or tax compliance with 3+ years in management.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and global statutory reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Coordinate statutory reporting with local finance teams and external advisors.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and assess business impacts.
• Lead external financial statement and statutory audits globally.
• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of corporate income tax and indirect tax returns.
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams on transfer pricing documentation.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and accounting matters.

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Accounting Compliance to lead the Company's global accounting compliance and statutory reporting function. This role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory audit requirements, tax compliance obligations, and transfer pricing regulations across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical accounting expertise in US GAAP, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Ind AS, along with extensive experience managing financial statement audits, statutory reporting, tax return compliance, transfer pricing documentation, and relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and filing of statutory financial statements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Ensure compliance with:
  • US GAAP
  • IFRS
  • FRS (UK GAAP)
  • Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS)
• Coordinate statutory reporting requirements with local finance teams and external advisors.
• Monitor changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements and assess business impacts.
• Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and accounting matters.
• Support implementation of new accounting standards and disclosure requirements.

Audit Management

• Lead all external financial statement and statutory audits globally.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory auditors.
• Develop audit calendars and ensure timely completion of audit deliverables.
• Coordinate preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and management representations.

Tax Compliance Oversight

• Oversee the preparation, review, and filing of:
  • Corporate income tax returns
  • Indirect tax returns (VAT, GST, Sales Tax)
  • Withholding tax filings
  • Other statutory tax filings
• Coordinate with external tax advisors and local finance teams to ensure timely compliance.
• Support tax audits, assessments, and regulatory inquiries.
• Partner with tax advisors to ensure arm's-length pricing methodologies are documented and supported.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional accounting qualification required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting, audit, statutory reporting, or tax compliance experience with a minimum 3 years of management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP
• Experience supporting multinational organizations with global statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience with corporate tax compliance and transfer pricing documentation.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Advanced Excel and financial reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Big Four public accounting experience.
• Knowledge of international tax regulations and transfer pricing frameworks.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Workday, or NetSuite.
• Experience supporting acquisitions, or entity integrations, projects.
