Charles Aris Inc. is recruiting on behalf of a growing Virginia-based manufacturer of sustainable biomass and wood-based products for an Accounting Manager. The role leads accounting operations, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls to support growth.

You will oversee the general ledger, cash flow management, and process improvements in a manufacturing setting, partnering with finance leadership to strengthen compliance and accuracy.

Job description

Our client, a growing manufacturer of sustainable biomass and wood-based products, is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations, financial reporting and financial control initiatives. This person will be tasked with overseeing the month-end close and general ledger, managing financial reporting and cash flow and strengthening accounting processes and internal controls to support continued growth. The ideal candidate has strong accounting and financial reporting experience, proven leadership skills and a track record of improving accounting processes within a manufacturing environment.
