Accommodation Manager – LA 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games

Who We Are: On Location is a global leader in premium experiential hospitality, offering ticketing, curated guest experiences, live event production and travel management across sports, entertainment, fashion and culture. This role oversees all accommodation aspects for the LA 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games.

Responsibilities
  • Foster strong relationships with hotels, transportation providers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select accommodations that meet Olympic accommodation needs.
  • Negotiate hotel contracts, ensuring favorable terms, food & beverage minimums, and required amenities.
  • Develop, document, and implement event procedures and accommodation systems.
  • Manage accommodation inventory, operational plans, and quality assurance checklists.
  • Collaborate with project leaders to tailor event processes and integrate them into the Event Management Systems.
  • Provide client management support for internal and external lodging requests.
  • Assist the sales team with large group proposals and outreach to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct site inspections, delivering accommodation insights and recommendations.
  • Oversee managerial duties: hiring, training, supervising staff, and maintaining performance standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Sports Management, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in travel, event, or hospitality industry with a proven record in contract negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of the Los Angeles hotel market and its trends.
  • Ability to work with event bid documents, hotel RFPs, and contracts.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Fluent or conversational proficiency in English and French.
  • Proactive mindset focused on client satisfaction and continuous improvement.
  • Adaptability to coordinate with executives, operational staff, and stakeholders during the Olympic Games.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay and Benefits

Hiring Rate Minimum: $67,500 annually (minimum will not fall below the applicable State/local minimum salary thresholds).

Hiring Rate Maximum: $90,000 annually.
