Position Title

Manager, Accessible Transit Services

The manager is responsible for planning, implementing, and managing the operations of Valley Metro's Accessible Transit Services and related programs, including paratransit, RideChoice alternative transportation, travel training, ADA eligibility certification, and oversight of Reduced Fare and Platinum Pass programs. The role involves coordinating outreach to senior and disability communities and staffing the Valley Metro Accessibility Advisory Group.

The manager provides guidance on accessibility and ADA compliance across Valley Metro's services, facilities, and customer-facing technologies. Key duties include budget management, policy development, contract oversight, staff management, and ensuring legal compliance. The position requires experience in transit operations, policy development, customer relationship management, and leadership skills.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Planning, Business, Public Administration, or related field
  • Five (5) years of professional experience in paratransit and accessible transit services management
  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience
  • Equivalent education and experience may be considered

  • Valid Arizona driver’s license and safe driving record required

Physical Demands and Work Environment
