Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks a Manager of Academic Advising to lead the day-to-day operations of undergraduate advising in the College of Engineering's Computer Science and Engineering department. You will supervise a team of professional advisors and drive initiatives to improve student retention, persistence, and timely degree completion.

Reporting to an Associate Director, you will advance advising programs through data-informed decisions, program assessment, and collaboration with campus

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required.
• Minimum five years of progressively responsible experience in academic advising, student affairs, or higher education administration.
• Experience supervising two or more professional staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage undergraduate academic advising operations.
• Supervise and develop a team of professional academic advisors.
• Oversee planning, process improvements, and assessment of advising programs.
• Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and campus partners to promote student success.
