Monitor assign referrals and cases to staff as appropriate. Ensure that the required services per the ECI state contract are being provided in accordance with the contract guidelines. These services include child find, referrals, intakes, screenings, assessments, IFSP’s, case management, and ongoing service delivery. Develop and/or utilize oversight procedures to determine program performance on the contract requirements that relate to these services.Provide opportunities for direct service staff to obtain information and guidance on policy, procedures, and best practice, by meeting with, observing or reviewing records of each direct service staff member on at least a monthly basis 100% of the time.Mentor and supervise staff located in the regional office, through maintaining a current and comprehensive knowledge of ECI policies, processes, and philosophy by attending and contributing to program meetings, trainings and planning sessions 95% of the time.Perform and model the comprehensive range of required ECI services. Able to demonstrate quality services to other staff and carry a varying caseload based on program need.Ensure that supervised staff meet the program’s contract targets and timelines for children served in the assigned location. Targets and timelines will be monitored on a monthly basis 100% of the time and coaching will be provided as needed to staff struggling with compliance.Clearly and thoroughly document employee observations, coachings and evaluations, promoting positive working relationships and high ethical and professional standards. Complete annual performance evaluations for all supervised staff 100% of the time.Provide oversight of the regional office site, ensuring that all safety and health regulations are met. Ensure that office receives proper maintenance and upkeep.Ensure completeness and correctness of direct service staff’s documentation by review of all weekly documentation for a new staff member for at least 3 months and a random review of 1 qualified staff ember’s weekly documentation 100% of the time.Participate as a member of the ECI Management team, maintaining an open dialogue of feedback and input. As a team member, share in evaluating and problem solving systems, helping to process and integrate information into quality program practices.Participate in Random Moment Time Study and trainings as required.Ensure that staff documentation and other paperwork to include employee time sheets, expense vouchers, and other employee and ECI child documentation are completed by the due dates 95% of the time.Professional Development - This function requires the employee to successfully complete training, maintain competency and complete continuing education as required by professional standards and the Center. Occasionally the staff person may need to drive within or outside the five counties in order to participate in a special activity, such as a conference. The staff must maintain a valid driving license.Support program activities such as Child Find activities, Public Awareness events, Interagency Coordination, and other special program events.Accept assignment of services to be provided in a language other than English as determined by the primary language of the referred/enrolled children and their routine caregivers.
