We are seeking a Manager Software Engineering 2 (S02/M2) in Colorado Springs, CO to provide functional and technical leadership for software engineers supporting the C2BMC National Team program.
This is a full-time, on-site position at 9970 Federal Drive, working primarily in a classified, secure environment.
As a Manager Software Engineering 2, you will provide functional (people) leadership on the Northrop Grumman side and technical leadership in support of program objectives, in close partnership with the Program Engineering Lead (PEL), program management, and C2BMC National Team leadership. You will help ensure our software teams are staffed, supported, and executing effectively to meet C2BMC National Team cost, schedule, and performance objectives.
Note: This opening is limited to current Northrop Grumman employees who are actively supporting the C2BMC National Team program. Candidates must be currently assigned to C2BMC National Team and either already in Colorado Springs or willing to self-relocate; no relocation or signing bonus is available for this role.
The Manager Software Engineering 2 is responsible for functional management of a team of engineers supporting the C2BMC National Team, with primary focus on staff based in Colorado Springs, CO. This includes performance management, staffing, mentoring, and retention of Northrop Grumman personnel, as well as coordination with program leadership to align skills and staffing with evolving C2BMC National Team needs.
In addition to functional responsibilities, the person selected to fill this role will continue to support the program in a technical leadership role, contributing to planning, execution, and technical oversight of C2BMC National Team efforts. The role requires daily engagement in a classified environment with strong collaboration across multiple companies on the C2BMC National Team. This position will work any schedule that supports mission requirements.

Northrop Grumman Total Rewards Primary Level Salary Range: $146,500.00 - $219,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
