Qualifications

• CPA with 8-10 years of relevant public accounting experience, including Union and Multi-Employer plan experience.
• Strong audit and accounting background with ability to review client books and records.
• Technical knowledge and expertise with Pro FX Engagement or similar programs.
• Motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task in a dynamic team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication with partners, staff and clients.
• Willing to travel to client locations in the NY metropolitan area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and manage all aspects of attest and non-attest engagements, including filing deadlines.
• Review client internal controls and accounting systems.
• Client planning and financial projections.
• Advise clients on accounting and tax issues.
• Review forms including 5500, 990, 720, 945 and LM series.
• Develop, maintain and manage client relationships.
• Attend and present at board meetings as needed.

We are looking for an Audit Manager to join our firm's Union/Multi-Employer Plan Group in our Woodbury office. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. For positions in New York City, the salary range is $130,000 -- $220,000. Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and applicable laws.
