This role is responsible for building and managing the Identity Governance function. The role will serve as the product manager for identity governance, with a focus on maturing access controls, aligning with SOX compliance, and driving role-based access control (RBAC) initiatives. The position fills a critical leadership gap in IT Governance and requires a hands-on leader with strong technical acumen and governance expertise.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $75 - $90 / hr. w2
Responsibilities:
Own and evolve the Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) programs.
Develop, implement, and maintain IT governance standards, policies, and procedures.
Lead access lifecycle management including onboarding, offboarding, and RBAC.
Ensure SOX compliance through risk mitigation, audit readiness, and policy enforcement.
Collaborate with business units on access reviews and governance alignment.
Monitor and report on governance metrics and compliance posture.
Drive continuous improvement and automation in identity processes.
Serve as the product owner for Saviynt IAM platform and related tools.
Work through Azure Active Directory
Partner with engineering team to build, fix or troubleshoot
Technical Environment
Tools : Azure Active Directory, Saviynt (IAM), Microsoft Stack
Scope : Access management across ~200 applications
Focus Areas : IAM, PAM, SOX, Asset Management, RBAC
Experience Requirements:
Strong understanding of SOX compliance and risk mitigation.
Technical knowledge of IAM/PAM concepts and tools (e.g., Saviynt, Azure AD).
Experience in IT Governance, preferably in banking or fintech.
Familiarity with access protocols (SAML, LDAP, OpenID Connect, MFA).
PMP certification preferred; CIAM, CISSP, CISM, or CISA a plus.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
