Job summary

Enterprise Holdings is seeking a university student for the Management Internship at various Maryland branches. You’ll learn to run a fleet-focused business, work with customers, and develop leadership and marketing skills through hands-on projects and team collaboration.

This paid internship starts January 2027, runs 12 weeks with a 25-hour work week, includes training and development, and offers employee discounts as part of the program.

Qualifications

• Senior enrolled full-time in a bachelor’s degree program at a 4-year college or university.
• Major in Business or Communications required.
• At least 6 months of sales, customer service, marketing, or leadership experience.
• Clean driving record and valid US driver's license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Residence in Baltimore or surrounding counties.
• Available to start January 5, 2027.
• Able to commit to 25 hours per week for 12 weeks.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

When you join our Management Internship Program, you'll soon discover that every day is different because it is filled with new, exciting, rewarding and often unexpected opportunities. For a season, we’ll put you in the middle of everything, just like our Management Trainees. We’ll give you the chance to develop the skills you need to manage a fleet of vehicles, take care of customers, develop marketing strategies and build relationships with customers and coworkers.

During our internship, you’ll use the skills you learn to complete intern projects and engage in some friendly competition with your peers. You may also be eligible for performance incentives and employee referral rewards.

Qualifications

• Must be a Senior enrolled full time in a bachelor's degree program at a 4-year college or university with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027.
• Must have a Business or Communications related major.
• Must have 6 months (can be non-concurrent) of sales or customer service or marketing or leadership experience.
• Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 3 years) criminal, employment reference, education and social security. A conviction will not necessarily disqualify you for employment. Rather, such factors as age and date of conviction, seriousness and nature of the crime, and rehabilitation will be considered. Applicants will not be asked about their criminal record and no criminal background checks will be conducted unless and until a conditional offer of employment has been extended.
• Must have a valid driver's US license for one year.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 3 years (DUI/DWI).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
• Must live in Baltimore or surrounding county (Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, or Harford)
• Must be able to start January 5, 2027
• Must be able to commit to a 25 hour work week.
