Job summary

City Rent A Truck is seeking a results-driven trainee to grow with a fast-growing, customer‑focused team in the Kansas City area. You will learn rental and lease processes, close deals, and help expand our footprint across Missouri.

This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 7:30am–5pm, salary plus commission, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401K match, life insurance, holidays and unlimited PTO. Excellent communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficient computer navigation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite are required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening will be performed.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate rental and lease agreements for personal and commercial clients.
• Maximize earnings by developing strong relationships with clients.
• Open and close contracts.
• Drive top line revenue by closing deals over the phone and in person.
• Be willing to assist shop personnel with basic tasks.
• Overcome obstacles and adapt to changing situations.
• Cross-sell various products and services including commissions.

About the role:

• Facilitate rental and lease agreements for personal and commercial clients.

• Be willing to step in whenever and wherever help is needed. This could include aiding shop personnel in cleaning vehicles, installing signs, and other basic shop functions.
• Overcome obstacles, trouble shoot complex problems, and adapt to everchanging situations.
• Cross selling various products & services including commission-based sales.
