Job summary

Sears Home Improvement is recruiting permanent Sales Management Trainees for the Richmond area. The fourteen and a half month training program focuses on becoming a Sales Manager upon successful completion.

Trainees learn all aspects of the Home Improvement Sales business across multiple departments. Requirements include successful completion of assessments and evaluations, with leadership competencies demonstrated for progression to the Sales Manager role at program end.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or expected by December 2016.
• Leadership competencies expected for progression to Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

• Complete a 14.5-month training program to learn all aspects of Home Improvement Sales.
• Partner with leadership to develop into a Sales Manager after program completion.

Sears Home Improvement is currently recruiting permanent Sales Management Trainees for our Richmond area. Would you or someone you know be interested in learning more about this exciting role and our company?

The Sales Management Trainee, Home Improvement partners with the leadership team to complete a fourteen and a half month training program with a focus on becoming a Sales Manager upon successful completion of the program. This position is expected to learn all aspects of the Home Improvement Sales business along with other assigned departments during the fourteen and a half month program.

Requirements include the successful completion of all assessments, manager evaluations and knowledge based tests in order to progress to the next assignment. Must display the leadership competencies required for the Sales Manager role upon completion of the program. Tracks will encompass various areas of the Home Improvement business including Sales, Production, Call Center Operations, Business Analytics or HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning). Upon completion the individual must demonstrate proficiency of all job assignments and be able to assume a Sales Manager role at the end of the fourteen and a half month training period.

Qualifications

• Graduated 2016 or will be graduating from college by December 2016
• Bachelor's Degree in Business/Management/Marketing/ or Sales
