As a Management Trainee, you will participate in our Operations Management Trainee Program. This is an entry-level training position with an intensive 16-week program designed to prepare you for an initial role in operations. Under the guidance of a mentor, your responsibilities include learning transportation industry principles, efficient cross-dock operations, leadership communication, and relationship-building skills. Upon completing the program, relocation for your first leadership role in operations will be required.
The training involves guided and independent study, interaction with Support Center and Service Center associates, observing customer sales calls, and accompanying drivers on local delivery routes to understand freight delivery processes.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or at least two years of relevant work experience. A good driving record, flexibility to relocate, strong communication skills, professionalism, basic computer skills, and a strong work ethic are essential. The average starting pay ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 annually.
