We are looking to hire and train a new management trainee. Hours are flexible. During the summer we are open Mon-Thu: 9-7, Sat: 9-1, Sun: 12-4. During the school year, our hours are 4-8 weekdays, the same on weekends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage all aspects of tutoring, including supervision of program prescription, initial program, program revision, instruction, interim testing, and student progress.
- Ensure that all instruction at the Center is conducted to the highest standard of performance and professionalism.
- Review each student's instructional program at least monthly to determine programming needs.
- Maintain all student-related administrative materials, including Student Permanent Folders and Student Instructional Binders, whether in paper or electronic form.
- Prepare for and conduct teacher meetings.
- Hire, train, manage, motivate, observe, and evaluate teachers, or assist in the process as directed by the Center Director.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of Huntington curriculum and operations. Transmit changes to teachers and staff.
- Communicate to the Center Director about any student learning or behavioral issues
- Conduct initial inquiries, intakes, and consultations
- Conduct Student Interim Conferences.
- To be knowledgeable in each of the Program Administrator’s job functions and capable of performing each of them.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach each student during his first session and as needed.
- Create and maintain student and teacher schedules. Anticipate teacher needs. Minimize teacher and clerical payroll cost by optimizing student-teacher ratios. Perform educational administrative tasks, as directed, including administering, correcting, and writing up tests and conferences.
- Monitor inventory. Communicate needs to Center Director.
- Perform administrative functions, such as monthly billing, maintenance of attendance records, data entry, and maintenance of financial records.
- Conduct initial inquiries, consults, and intakes.
- Conduct student interim conferences.
- To be knowledgeable in each of the Teacher Supervisor’s job functions and capable of performing each of them.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in teaching or tutoring a plus.
- Ability to build rapport with students.
- Sufficient knowledge of core educational subjects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in any field - required.
